Restaurants and cafés

Table service that keeps working when the internet does not.

A store hub on the LAN shares tables, held checks and kitchen orders across handhelds, the bar and the kitchen display even when the WAN is down. Every closed check posts to SAP as an invoice and a payment, with service charge and tips on their own accounts.

What restaurants use

The service, step by step.

Seat and orderA host seats a reservation or a walk-in; the waiter opens the table on a handheld, takes seats and courses, modifiers and allergens.
Fire and cookCourses are held and fired; the kitchen display shows new, started and late with one colour code in every kitchen; a slip prints if the display is unreachable.
Serve and adjustMove, merge and split tables; transfer items; a pro-forma per table or seat; the order-ready board for collections.
PaySplit evenly, by seat or by item; pay at the table by QR; tips on card or cash; a bar tab on a pre-authorisation closed with a tip adjustment.
CloseTips pooled by rules and paid out from the drawer as a journal; service charge posted on its account; the day closed with a summary e-mail.
PostEach check an invoice and a payment in SAP; online payments as transfer-means on the provider’s account; everything reversible.
